STUDENTS AFFAIR UNIT
This Unit is Housed within the Rector's Office, and is supervised by an appointed Dean, referred to as the Dean of Students Affair. The Office of Students Affair is to encourage and supports students’ successes by providing a variety of support services, programme and activities to enhance the students’ experiences as well as assist students in meeting the many demands, both personal and academic.
The staff advises student groups on a variety of issues including goal setting and event planning. .
The Unit ensures the enrichment and experience of every student in the Institute through a wide range of educational, cultural, and social programmes as well as creating opportunities to build skills. It is also all to maintain the cordial relationship between Students and the community that hosts them.
This Unit helps to Collate information from scholarships and bursary awarding agencies of governments and States and privaye establishments.
The office represents students’ interest before the Management and appropriate statutory bodies of the College in addition to providing guidance and guidelines on Students conduct.
Office of Student Affairs is the primary resource on campus for students and serves as the main liaison between students and the System. It is the “go to” office for a wide range of information such as ‘information about housing or accommodation’ or ‘opportunities on academic support’.
The unit partners with students in the academic process and stand committed to students successes.
